  5. Thanks for the pix Len. I had the front end shot from your last set of photos as my screen saver for a month or so. I am really happy that my old filler neck found such a good home!!! Exceptional work!!! It gives us all something to strive for. Cheers JB
  6. Hi Len, As long as it is not pitted you should be fine, a little wire wool and good to go. You may want to consider a resurface since you have the opportunity and since the rest of the car is so flawless. How about some new pix!! Cheers JB
  7. I run 185/60/13's on my '76 they are Sumitomo HTR 2000's. They are a good all around tire and I am very pleased with them, especially at $50 a corner from the Tire Rack. Go through the FAQ store and LIFE IS GOOD. Good inexspensive tires and a portion of the sale goes to the site. Cheers JB
  8. 2nd Mike Pelly or www.alfaparts.net Good luck JB
  9. I bought a '76 with plates intact that had fallen off of the DMV radar (not registered for over 5 years). I was required to provide a smog certificate and get the car "verified" either by a police officer or a DMV employee. I did have a title and registration showing those plates for that car. That was it. I accomplished this at the Santa Clara DMV which is apparently one of the easier branches to deal with. Good Luck JB
  10. Tire Rack $237, portion of sale goes to the site. Cheers JB

  13. I think it is a 26mm socket, that a few love taps with a hammer and wiggle it off. Cheers JB PS you can get the socket on the bolt then wedge the breaker bar against the frame or the ground and "bump" the engine with the starter and the bolt will break free
  14. You need one of those valve tools that looks like a giant "C" clamp. JB
  15. Nice job Randy!! I am planning on using that stuff for undercoat and POR for the interior. That Herculiner is damn near bullet proof, I have seen it endure dents an inch deep and not release from the metal. Cheers JB
  16. try r3vlimited.com Cheers JB
  17. you can try pulling them back to under the rear seat and see if it clears. From there it runs along the drivers rocker to up under the dash, you can just keep following them back. I am willing to bet the problem is under the carpet and not under the dash but stranger things have happened. JB
  18. The wiring for the belts comes from under the rear seat and along the sides of the tranny hump to the base of the stems. If you carefully lift the carpet at the base of the seat belt stems you can access the plugs. Hope this helps. Cheers JB
  19. Summit sells senders of all flavors for thier fuel cells. Cheers JB
  20. The latest addition to the family!!! And the first attempt at shaving. We should pick up some speed now. See you soon. JB
  21. Did you see the o2's in thailand thread from yesterday or the day before? The pic shows a squaretail with e21 bumpers. I thought it looked pretty good. Cheers JB
  22. You can get it off with giant channel locks, wrap it with a rag first so that you don't mung it up though. Cheers JB
