2000c headlamps
I have avoided posting, as I am still awaiting actual factual delivery of my 1966 2000c. Meanwhile however I have been trying to get a set of headlights together knowing that this in the car are goosed,. Original pattern grey carpet.
Is there anybody out there who knows where to find the original factory installed spec carpet for a 1971 2002?? The attached photo is of my original grey carpet. My car has 46,500 miles on it so this carpet did not wear well even though I had a set of factory accessory grey rubber floor mats over it. I want to get something from a BMW supply source so I can get a new vinyl foot pad.

I really struggled installing these seals, they are a real barsteward to fit and there are a few tricks that are not immediately obvious. One of my least favorite jobs on a 2002 is adjusting the rear brake shoes in order to lessen the brake pedal travel. Well, one good thing about getting the motor running, it does provide some quick feedback on if you have any leaks. After going through the mis-adventure of the leaking heater core, (turned out to be just the hose clamp to the heater core on the driver's side), I did identify 3 leaks while running the motor.
