Pretty tempting, particularly on the left (exhaust) side; but might this not also be accomplished, and somewhat more easily, but installing installation on the firewall inside the car?

defenitively worth it. both for the nice look and it does its job well too to reduce noise.

here is the pictures of mine on my automatic 74'.

i bought it from Blunt. note that it was not the 100% fit on my automatic firewall, i still have the old original one, it is significantly different, and it is also 100% off different from 75-76 cars.

but i made it fit.
