New Speedometer for the M20 Turbo

Sounds like a challenge to me actually ;)

Mine goes to about 155 (modified one from a suzuki gsxr600) and it indicates about 140 if you're going 130, so when I install a 3.64 instead of a 4.11 I'll try to peg it sometime.

.. looks like I won't be able to peg the speedo anymore.....

That actually brings up a good point: Aside from the cool factor of having a 150MPH speedometer, how many of you regularly, or ever, reach those speeds?

My current 1600 will do 110ish with the 4.11 and around 115hp, but that was just once!

I did a gps verified 165kph (like 100mph) in my 3.90 with a WORN out engine and 13 inch wheels/185/70r13 yokohamas.

The speedo was reading wildly around 120mph.. :)

Funny old thing, I remember growing up, when the new cars were rolled out the first thing we had to look at was the Speedo to see how fast it would go.....times have changed.
