engine and drivetrain FIXED!! Got my new hazard switch but

Yes I checked the archives first.

When I first got the car the hazards and blinkers did not work, not even a click. Got my new hazard switch(8prong)today. with the ignitiion OFF, if you press the hazard switch you hear a click in the engine bay area but that is all, just one click, no lights turn on etc. . With the ignitiion ON you dont hear a click in the engine bay but you hear the blinker switch, under the dash, click once. The hazard switch red light does not light up. The green B under the speedo stays lit when the ignition is on and blinkers still don't work either

Man what direction do I go next?

Get a new relay, it's not the hazard switch it the relay. Locate the relay for the switch and you're golden....I'm pretty sur.e

sounds like you may be correct, I am assuming you mean the underhood relay.....do you know where it is located?

man you were correct, I took the relay out, tapped it a few times, plugged it back in and it alll works!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy a new relay and be done with it. Once a relay starts working intermittently, it's finished. It may work OK for now, but eventually it'll be toast!

Glad you're good, I like it when I make the right call. But do replace it! Bavauto and they say some chevys will work but I would do bavauto.
