How difficult is it to mount aux gauges like this?

Why skimp on the guages. Maybe this is what you had in mind. BTW, when do you look at the road?? LOL

It can't be too terribly hard if you don't mind the gauges being all crooked like they are in the photo. Take a close look.

Either way, too many gauges for my taste. I'm mounting an oil temp, oil press, and volt meter in my center console where my Behr A/C vents used to be.

Ever driven a newer Porsche with the "sport chrono" package? That lap timer feature is so small you can't read it while parked, let alone lapping around a track.

One trick when mounting a lot of gauges is to cant each one individually so that when it is reading normal operating condition of the monitored system the needle points straight up. That way, a quick glance will tell you if everything's OK (all the needles pointing straight up) or something's wrong (a needle not pointing straight up). Much easier to process in a quick scan than checking each individual gauge reading.
