E36 Hubs

Awesome, I wonder how much fabrication the rear would take.

What about the brakes? What booster and master would neet to be used? What booster would fit with a 318 intake mani?

afaik you can put e3/e9/e12 hubs on tii struts. I could try it out for you.

Someday, when I set up shop, I'll build a shop car where I try this out. My other half supports this, but, unfortunately, I can't begin on this yet. =(

In the meantime, I'd love to see what others have done.

That is my overkill project. Not sure i would do it again, at least not in this fashion :-)

It is basically an e36 compact setup. So e36 front hubs and shocks and an e30 rear arms with 5x120 hubs. I made the e30 rear axle arm fit the body.

There might be some confusion to the front. I didn't combine e36 hubs with 02 shocks. I use complete e36 shocks mounted on 02 arms. I had to refabricate the body to cope with camber difference.

I am planning tp use the stock booster and an e36 master cilinder. Haven't really paired the two up though.

It basicly started as a cheap brake upgrade and turned into an engineering challenge. Thanks for checking out my site, feel free to ask me anything
