Bench test ---tii fuel pump

Car sitting for a while. I just changed plugs, filters, oil and fresh gas.

Turn the key and no response from the electric fuel pump.

Suggestion/method with bench test --- tii fuel pump

Crawl under the car with the key on and bang on it with a wrench. Might just wake it up. That method got me home one day.

I ended up replacing mine because it would not run without the impact start proceedure.

don't remove the pump -

test light or volt meter check at the pump,

check for break in wiring through trunk,

and give a calibrated 2-oz. "doink' with

BMW Special Tool # 11.99.0.000.001

add MARVEL MYSTERY OIL to the gas tank

to prevent sticking in the future. (2-0z. per full tank)
