Headliner Colors

I remember asking around about a black headliner and someone talked me out of it but wasn't very convincing.... I'm still wondering what it'd look like and a little tempted.

The previous owner of my car installed an e21 tilt and slide clip into the roof of my car so i decided to install a black alcantara headliner as regular 02 options weren't open to me and couldn't be happier. My previous car had the original liner as does my CSi and I can't say I honestly notice the difference between them. I guess if you hopped straight from one car to the other you may notice but with all that glass they're hardly "dark holes"! It's your car, don't let others put you off!

my mother stiched a black headliner into my turbo 02. made with vinyl or such, used the old one as a template. worth 10$ of material iirc.

I think I will try Black or dark grey. Thanks guys. If it really does not turn out nice as I thought, I'll just put it back. Couple hundred dollars. I like black as most sports cars have that as an option. I'm must definitely not keeping the car stock. M2 w/Carbon Fiber boot and lid, plus disc upgrades, so it is not a factory restore.
