Dash removal

Any tips on removing the dash. It looks like it is a cover over the metal. Is that true.

I have a parts car(76) with a good dash that I want to put in a 74.

get underneath it and remove every screw/bolt that attaches it to any metal braces or supports...then the tough part...

there are 2 screws under the rubber windshield seal...about 1/3 in, towards the center of the dash from the outside bend in the dash....these are usually rusty and difficult to get to

if you're removing the front glass, it's a piece of cake, if not, it's a challenge but can be done
