How do you attach sunroof crank recess cup?

That's what I'm saying... I see a hole that is in the roof, but a 10MM threaded bolt easily fits inside it... the hole I see doesn't appear to be threaded... it's like there is something like a clip that should be over the hole that a self threading screw would fit into, but I don't really know how it attaches

The screw is threaded into a spring clip.... part(9) 07 12 9 925 712 with a chrome screw (7) 07 11 9 902 236
