Looks nice! I finally got the brakes done and now somethings up with the ignition! I tell you, if its not one thing its another. Hopefully I'll get it all sorted out so I can make it on the 30th.

I think what CD is trying to say is that you've located it in the hottest part of the engine bay and it may have been better to find a cooler location.

You've made some great progress - where did the hosing come from or did i miss a post about the install of the radiator and that?

for one it is not called a "go fast ignition"

it is a MSD - multiple spark discharge unit

second ...see the modifiied heat sheild getting ready to go in?duh?!?!?!

thrid .... its the only place it would fit under the hood

i have plans to move it to the passenger floor board . but i have to make a housing

finally ...we can take it to the track if u think yours is faster

Yep, many different tastes on this board but thank god it isnt like some of the others out there where its just banter everywhere. 99% of people here will be supportive mate - keep at it, dont let them put you off!

1) CD can't go to-to-toe w/ you on the track. (SOLD IT!)

2) CD is usually quite supportive in the "Use genuine BMW parts!" sort of way... I dont think he's trying to bash your ride, but the advice can sometimes be a tad... blunt.

my get to gether was just a dead line to get me movitavated to make it better

i know my car is not for everyone

but it is the car that I want the way i want it (or it will be)

it may not be the 02 for all tastes

but i come to the board for help and advice
