What diff ratio are people running in S14 powered cars?

I need to start looking for a new diff for my M2 ( I hate that label), and was wondering what people were using.

Car will be road registered with occasional track use. Basically stock except Dinan chip, lightened flywheel and headers.

i would run a 3.91 if youre not running a c/r box. if you are id at least look at a 364 or lower numerically. were turbo's 331 or something??

Definately a 3.91 or lower. Our M2002 was built for autox with a 4.10 (non-CR) and it's too high for the street). Torque city, though....

I had a 3.64 in mine with the CR box and changed to a 3.45:1. Prefer the latter and if anything would go lower, although I was a little surprised at how small the difference between the two were. Turbos had 3.36:1

I'm running the 4.10 with the OD box. Don't the E30 M3's have the same?

It is a bit much for the street perhaps, and maybe it dropped the top end a bit, but I'm happy with it.

I'll be running a 390 LSD with an euro 320 CR dogleg gearbox. From what I understand, 5th gear in the CR is the same as 4th in the standard box (1to1). I ran the 390/4 speed with my stage II M10/dual side drafts for a couple of years. Around town it was great. The car pulled hard and felt quicker than my E30M3, but on the freeway the M10 screamed. The M2 with this combo should be really fun for auto-x! That’s what I’m talking about!
