Hey Ladies and Gents,

As I read some of these post I find that I am not as knowledgable about the history, body and originality of the 2002 as I would like to be. Is there a book or two you fine people suggest I read. I don't know the difference between Euro body or my own darn body.

Any suggestions?

Mike Macartney's book, BMW 02 Restoration Guide

is a readible book with the info you seek.

of the Roundel has a nice comprehensive article about 2002s--year by year changes, approx VINs etc etc.
