Well I just logged in as a member but have been here for a long time,I have a '67 1600 that has been in the family since 1972 This car since I have owned it has had a 1.6 ltr/1800 tisa motor/2.0 ltr/and last a 72 Tii motor that has webber 40's on it a parts and polish cam 296 and 10.5 to 1 pistons I will be pulling it out of storage next week all body panels are what it came with no wrecks or rust,car was sold in Sac.Ca new and has been here all of it's life.I will update the new photo's as for the 3rd time I rebuild this dream.I have been a BMWmechanic since 1977 and changed to mbz but my love is for BMW.all my family owens at least 1 2002 and a 3.0cs plus a 650 csi.Hope to talk to you all soon.

My 67 1600 has a spunky 2.0 that drinks the oil. It is currently in purgatory with a few boxes of essential parts, waiting me to finish essential work with the other 02. Do you still have the same drive train and brake systems, or have you upgraded them too? Have you added a sway bar? I love the original tranny in the 67...butter smooth.
