Any special tips for installing pedal rebuild kit?

I just did mine a couple weeks ago and it was pretty straightforward. It helps to have the parts diagrams handy (i.e. from realoem.com) to guide you on re-assembly. There's a good article on removing the pedal box here: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/content/view/22/32/.

I'd be down at the dealer screaming about them covering that under warranty!

For the rebuild, make sure you have all the springs and bushings and such to do the job once. The parts aren't expensive, but it would be a PITA to have to go in there twice. How old is your clutch master cyl?

just did clutch master last year. I think I'll just do bushings and springs for now.
