Fellas, I've not been on the system for a few years now and aljust recentlz.picked up a '79 528i (e12). Yes, I know this is an '02 group.. BUT.. I figure any shop willi g to work on an '02 is likely to work on an e12 as well.

I'm also in Santa Monica! Nothing nearby, lol. 

For work on my e39 M5 that I'm not willing to do myself I use a shop down in Redondo Beach. They know old BMWs. If you want to go that far its Mardikian Automotive. Only place I trust with my old BMWs. There's also Bavarian Motorwerks in West Hills, very good shop, but pricy.
