Can you link to info about the mod required for early models? I have a 70 and would be interested in these but curious what needs to be done to make it work.

Try searching FAQ for Peacock method, or find my article " installing inertia belts to early cars..." you just need to drill two small holes on the inner rocker panel directly below from upper swing loop anchor on the top front corner of rear trim panel. One hole on the side of the rocker panel (vertically) of size 7/16" and another hole on the top of the rocker extension aligned with the lower hole (1/2" to 1" diameter), this is an access hole to install a washer and nut for the bolt that secures the retractor.

Here’s what Al is referring to. Thanks again, Al! ( I added the plastic covers from my old e28 rear belts but they really weren’t necessary.)

what is the time frame for the next batch? I want a set but as I am at least 6 months away from my restoration to hit the road i hate to tie up my money sitting on a shelf but i will do what is needed.

I received a check for front belts from a gentlemen in Raleigh, NC (Gregory, R.M.) but I don't have his FAQ handle, don't know if it is for regular belts or M-stripe belts, looks like it is for regular belts. Greg please PM me, I was out of town and lost your contact info.
