High performance fuels / 'winter hibernation' fuel

After an operator induced episode of fuel tank/sender, shall we say, self destruction and with some internet education Sta-bil 360 Marine seems to have much better performance characteristics than basic Sta-bil Storage.

I use it now on every fuel fill.

And NEVER allow the tank to be less than full for even a short period of time even if the tank had been internally coated!

I use Ethanol free VP Racing Fuels every year when I store my cars for the winter.  VP has a preservative already in it so no need to add anything else.  I have been doing this for years and years and never had a problem.

i’d damned if i wouldn’t invest sonic rodent repeller or two.

Nice touch, I place a few snap traps baited with a dab of peanut butter( and a peanut ) around but have had less probs since I  screened the heater box intake.

Which VP Racing Fuel do you use?

Sorry for the late reply.  Here are pictures of the can of VP fuels that I use.

a full tank of pump gas and stabil is all that is needed for long or short term storage.  never had an issue with any of my cars, motorcycles, generators, lawn mowers or snowblower doing this.

unless you really enjoy paying $10 a gallon for race gas.
