$5400, reserve not met. Great looking little car, wonder how high the reserve will be? If I had a dealers license and Copart bidding access I'd be throwing a bid or 2 at this one!

Probably manufactured March or April 1967.

 

Originally, at least, a six-volt car: 1967 model year despite description as a 1968. Looks like a great starting point.

Strange 'pulled' wheel arches, particularly the rears.

This one would need to be seen in person.  Low res photos, not enough photos, blah blah.  Copart has sales guys that hit up shops and try to get them to sell cars through them.  I would guess that's the case here, or if the shop is familiar enough with it they may be trying to get to the overseas market using Copart.  Could be a nice car but either way I think the high bidder will have to negotiate a deal with a high reserve.

I saw that right rear fender, Les, looked at the little whitewall tires, and figured it was a trick of the eye....
