Small BBs and small cylinder piece

How would the BB come out if its covered with a lead plug?

Well, obviously it had a transmatter transmitter.

Yeah, I dunno.  I was thinking if the bb was beneath the screw- it's not too hard to pull those plugs,

and every so often they come out on their own.  But if yours is still sealed, obviously I'm wrong!

As to getting the diaphragm off, you pull.  Try sliding a razor blade under it.

Sometimes it tears.  You should

replace both this one and the power valve one as a matter of course- the pump one

will dump fuel if it breaks, and the power valve one causes all sorts of ugly- to- find tuning problems

when it gets hardened.

I think we're all on the same page, though- when you're cleaning out the accelerator pump, though,

make sure it has the 2 valves (inlet and outlet) and that they work, and then run the thing!

Do pay a lot of attention to how fuel flows around the carb- those little passages get blocked,

and sometimes you have to go at them pretty aggressively with small drill bits, chemicals, and

compressed air to get everything flowing again.

Good luck, and keep at it!
