New ways to post photos

As the Photobucket image storage becoming more impractical, i would suggest storing images on this site.

 

One of the ways is to create your own album within our Gallery and use the photos from there in the posts or articles.

 

To post a whole Album, just drop a link to the album in the post like this:

 

https://www.bmw2002faq.com/gallery/album/563-neue-klasse-and-kaffee-shamrock-rally-2017/

This will generate this:

 

 

Or post a link to an image in the album like this:

 

https://www.bmw2002faq.com/gallery/image/5389-dsc_1043jpg/

 

It will result in this:

 

 

If you just have a single image to share, you can just drag it from your desktop into any place in the post to get this:

If we had images stored here, could we use them on other sites/forums?  I've considered using Flickr now, but haven't taken the time to figure out moving them from P'bucket.

Yeah, we discovered that a few weeks ago on MyE28.com forum.  I figured it's only a matter of time before this doesn't work!  I hate to see all the DIY posts without pix, but a quick glance at some of the project blogs here seem to still have photos.

Yes, you are welcome to share them. i do not plan on restricting image access.

I don’t see it mentioned, but if anyone wants to bulk download files off your pbucket acct, you can do it with google chrome and a $2 extension google sells. I have a few thousand files stored with them (all 02 pics) and cannot download one at a time, which is what they tell you to do.

another alternative:  I have been using www.JPGBOX.com for a while.
