Help with longer wheel studs

I'm looking for longer rear wheel studs to fit my bbs mahle wheels that have a thicker hub mount surface. I've read many threads regarding longer studs but nothing I could find meets my needs. I know IE has 70mm studs but that's overkill and i'd also have to get open lug nuts to deal with the extra length. 

 

Ideal length is 58mm, the closest I found is a dorman 55mm stud but the knurle is 14.20 not bmw 14.40. Thoughts on whether or not .20mm is going to be a problem? 

 

If anyone knows of a stud that fits an 02 rear hub (12mm-1.50, 14.40mm knurle) in my desired length, I'd appreciate the help.

You could trim the 70mm studs down to 58 easily in a vise with a hacksaw and file. Even easier with a bandsaw and grinder. It'd take just minutes.

Data point: I recently installed a set of Ireland's 70mm press-in studs - a nice, tight press into OEM rear hubs. (note: suggest confirming the size of the head nuts - 17mm or 19mm). -KB

Thanks for the replies guys, I figured I'd get IE studs and cut then down if these wouldn't work, just hoped to cut costs if I could.

I used press-on rear studs from an E9/E12 #33.41.1.106.765.  They are about 5mm longer and fit perfectly, altho I don't know if they are still available.

Part # 33.41.1.106.765 is still available - approx $9 each ($144 per set of 16)

IE's are only $5.50 each ($88 per set of 16) - time to break out the grinder and save $56

Ireland engineering has 70MM rears, 

i just cut mine to 58MM
