Specs for a Coil w/ internal resistor?

 I have a '74 w/ no ballast resistor, I'm getting 3 ohms at the Primary, which I know is good. But my question to everyone is this; is 13K Ohms for the secondary a good # or fall within specs? I didn't have a 'helper' last night to turn the ignition key to see if a spark will jump from the cable that goes from coil to top of dizzy; will get this done today....

Take the positive wire off the coil and measure resistance with a voltmeter. It should be close to zero but If it is 0.9 ohms, you still have your resistance wire installed!!!

^The cars never came from factory with a blue coil, therefore all cars have resistors. If you convert to a blue coil, you have to remove the factory resistor.
