I'm aware of that attempt at highway robbery. There's a recent thread about it. Any reasonable leads?

I got a set of repro tools a few years ago, in anticipation of using them to service regional Tiis.. never got around to using them.  I think they were about half that $.  I can look to see what they consist of, and if my heart doesn't twinge at the thought of selling, I may be able to part with them.

Search for reproduction tii tools here - I believe William S. In San Diego was offering them a few years ago.

Roger.s tii  has the pin and the rod for the pump .25.00 if you send me the short metal linkage I can check it on my linkage jig.   Bruce M-tuner

I should have a full set available.  I'll be pulling my tii motor for a Wankel conversion.  Message me if you're still looking for the full kit.  It's in perfect condition.

while your at it why don't you put a big block chevy init, it will go a lot faster Bruce M-tuner

I'm not so sure of that, Bruce. A 13b turbo weighs about 325lbs.  BB Chev prolly weighs about 650lbs.  Then theres the weight of the transmission.  When it comes to power to weight, the Wankel can't be touched.  And it fits into the car.

Do me a favor if you oun a tii and it  has a #27 id number, sell it to me don't turn it into a bastard, I worked at a mazda dealer for 4 years, i know the cars, buy a alumium, rx-7 you can find them, start there, a tii has become are very collectable car , if you want fast, bring it to me, I will set you hair on fire when I am done with it.   there is a guy in norway that runs in the 8s with a bmw 2002 with a bmw motor thats in the quarter mile, thats about 140 at the trap.  Bruce M-tuner

     Fear not, it's a clone car.  The body is perfect, restored paint, interior, trim and bumpers, but the motor isn't great,  It blows oil when I let off the throttle, its got a cam and a long tube header; it carburates miserably no matter how much I tune the KF.  And its a 4-speed.  To make the M10 run the way I want it to would cost more in time and money than swapping a 13b into it.  I'm in Canada, there is no 2002 support here.  Nothing.  I love the car, the look, and its character.  I've put a lot of time and effort into it, but I need to enjoy it properly, and that means a fun motor.  There are no M20's around here worth the hassle of installing.  A series 5 13b turbo with a 5 speed will drop in pretty easily and a Haltech ECU will be a nice, clean install. 

 

     And the best part?  It will both offend and delight people like you immensely.  And it will be a nasty little beast.
