The parts for the 235/5 Close Ratio transmission are getting harder and harder to source and some are flat out NLA.  I would check out the condition of the splines on your main output shaft which have a tendency to wear prematurely (see picture).  I ended up replacing my main output shaft with an old-stock OEM part from Latin America.  Other parts (synchos) are available special order from Germany.  Because the 235/5 is coveted in the racing community, the pricing on a good transmission has skyrocketed.
