body and interior Lower Moulding Attachment

Does anyone know how to get the lower molding to stay on it's clips?  

 

i installed all new clips after paint job but can't get the moulding to slip on to the clips and stay on.

I may have been lucky.  The new white clips are not the same as the original (grey/black) ones.

 

When I first tried, I had the clips oriented vertically.  Then I rotated them 90degress and they popped on with a firm hit with the palms of my hands.

 

Good for a year now.

I had the same issue. I originally bought new clips at Bavarian auto. Turns out they are a slightly different size and they do not work. I returned them. I bought the real BMW ones and they work fine.

genuine clips should work fine. Order them from blunt or your local BMW dealer.
