Wanted In Socal "daily Driver" Automatic 2002

I'm located in the LA area but I'm not opposed to traveling anywhere in so cal or even norcal for the right car. I'm looking for a 2002 that's automatic with a great running engine, good tires and brakes, straight body line, no rust or very little, at least an average condition interior, good maintenance records, definitely a plus if it has upgraded suspension and added ac. Preferably nothing newer than 1975 preferring 73's and older.

Recommend that you read this thread on 02's as a DD before you buy.

My recommendation is in a large urban environment like LA, Get an E30 as your DD and then find an 02 as your weekend fun car.  My E30 is my DD and my tii is my weekend fun car.

If you are going to use an 02 as your DD, I would at least recommend one with diving board bumpers. If a big pickup truck/SUV hits you, all bets are off that the bumpers will save your 02 since the bumper height on these vehicles is much higher that the 02 bumper.
