steering and suspension H&r Sport Spring Install

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I am not hitting the right search terms and did not find in articles either...

 

If I wanted to install H&R sport springs on my '74 Tii, would I need to modify the front struts?  or is this a swap in?

No mod necessary....install and go.  I am running H&Rs on my car.

I have them on my 74 tii.....no problem.

You'd simply have to:

- Get the shock housings out

- Compress the old springs using spring compressors

- Remove upper shock mount

- Remove old spring/Install new goodies.

Thats roughly how I see it being done. You're going to want to match those springs up with some strut/shocks to compensate for the stiffer ride. Hope that helps more than confuses. Haha.

Yup…HR Sports and Bilstien Sports work great, lowered a touch, a touch of rake, not too rough/progressive.  Wheels are 15x7/et25 with 195/50x15.
