Ok.  So are the pieces from Restoration-Desgin really just from Wallothnesch and marked up?  Or are the ones from Restoration-Design their own version of the fenders?

Based on the above response, Restoration-Design = Wallothnesch, correct?

Has anybody else other than harold installed these?  Doesn't sound like harold's experience was one I'd like to repeat.

Thanks.

Please contact me and I will send you your bill.

The parts are $394 USD (for both) + shipping.

We can ship for under $30 to most locations in Canada and the US, all depending on box sizes.

You will face duty charges, on top of shipping costs, if shipped with W & N's DAP shipping terms.

I apologize for any inconvenience; contact me and I will see how we can assist.

Regards,

Mark B.

You are correct Mark... Sorry, wasn't thinking of everything when originally typing it out. I modified my original post.

The cost for me (living in Quebec, Canada) from Wallothnesch:

  • 41 11 1 430 015 repair panel for rear sill 02 left side €96,60
  • 41 11 1 430 016 repair panel for rear sill 02 right side  €96,60
  • VEX003 DHL International EXPRESS DAP  €49,00
    • $358.93 CAD (with today's exchange, approximately $18.67 USD)
    • + 9% Canadian import duties - $391.23
    • + 5% GST (Federal Sales Tax) - $410.79
    • + 9.975% PST(Provincial Sales Tax) - $451.77

My final cost for ordering it directly from Germany would have been $451.77. I much smaller difference and definitely worth it for people in a hurry. I'm happy with my parts.

  • 8 months later...

Sorry for ignorance but why is the rocker panel with the lower quarter half the price of the rocker panel without, but with the jack points? Am I missing something? I am very new to the e10.. came from the e30..

Need a replacement regardless but I'm not sure which to buy.

Thanks, awesome to see you're out of Canada.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
