Turbo Flare Spacing

Just wondering how far apart the rivets should be, so it don't look so industrial.

Any help from anyone with first hand experience would be appreciated.

Farther apart than I went, which was 30mm, I think.  It looked like I went at it with a sewing machine!

The flares that were on the car when I got it were spaced at about 3 inches, which was a lot better.

They were also small panhead hex screws, black, and looked better than rivets.  And were removable!

I have a set of fiberglass replicas (molded from the real thing). I can measure the spacing if it would help?

Thank you, figured out it is 5" from CDs photos after counting rivets
