P2 at the wedding

One of my youngest son's friend borrowed P2 for his wedding get away car and to take on his honeymoon. He turned down his dad's new Z4

Reminds me of leaving our wedding party with my bride in a 75 Amazonasgrun 2002...29 years ago...still have the wife, wish I had kept the car too, LOL.

The car is suppose to be back tomorrow. There wedding colors were yellow and gray.

What does P2 stand for? Obviously 2 for 02, but P? Curious. real nice 02 BTW. Cheers

My first 02 was yellow and obtained during the years of the Pokemon cartoon series. My boys named it Pikachu for the character in that series that was yellow. This is the second yellow car and it was named P2, short for the second Pikachu.

The car is back in great shape and created some life long memories for the bride and groom. The groom was telling me typical 2002 stories of thumbs up, whole body turns, "I had one of those", plus the Cobra boys meeting in town stopped him to give him props.

Then the bride, with not so much glee, chimed in, "IT was the focal point of the wedding."

They say they will share some of the photos the pro took sometime in the next week or so.

Congrats Bill....won't be long and you'll probably be joing me in the ranks of being called Grandpa! :-) I have two granddaughters now. Time sure flies by!

When they brought the car back, I told him as an old man and go to funerals of my peers, the conversation always turns to "remember when?".

So I told them one of their duties as a new couple was to create "remember when" moments.
