1600 Side view mirror question

(check the logos) and have two different mounting methods.

Really early cars have the mirrors at the very front of the door, so that the forward mount is a stud that goes through the edge of the doorskin. Think this was left over from the NK sedans, but on the 1602 that placement interfered with opening the vent window.

Later ones mount further aft and are held in place with two machine screws that thread into captive nuts, same as the trapezoid and flag mirrors used later.

These early mirrors aren't "handed" and can be used on either side of the car.
