Nice, I wish he had some real info about the car though! I searched for a while trying to find out more about it.

Still doesn't answer my question about the wheels though.

I'm surprised no one else has chimed in with an opinion on the size...

that's because, with turbo flares of unknown dimension, it's pretty

darned hard to tell from just the pix.

I'd guess 17, but it's just a guess.

Ha. try this. a 2002 window is 27" at the base.

if you scale off the picture, the rims are .7 the length of the bottom of the window.

27" * .7 is 19", approximately.

Therefore, if the picture's not distorted, those are 19's.

If you plug the driver's name into google with BMW 2002 attached,

you get quite a few race results... which did tell me something...

That's what I got.

That assumption does not work on a lowered car, rather take a finite measurement. But I do like your thinking and method. Well done.

My guess would have been 17" or 18"

When I searched I found some race results but not the sites you listed so thank you for those....

Still thinking about running some style 5's I have access to, the 5 lug swap is all parts Im planning on replacing anyways on the front. However, the rear is still the challenge and there's little info out there about how to do the rear.

I'm guessing they're 17's using this picture for a comparison. I still wanted some other peoples opinions though.

That assumption does not work on a lowered car,

why not?

The window is 27" long. If you measure what it looks like

in the picture, the wheel measures .7 of the window.

I'm using the length of the base of the window, and the apparent width of the wheel...

Why does lowering matter? It certainly doesn't shorten the width of the window... heh
