I guys, I'm local to this car and am looking for my first 2002. I want a solid runner, not too interested in a garage queen or racer, so this thing looks to be a good fit for me. Is this a good price for this car? My only concern is the salvage title and lack of details on history.

Hi, very nice set up! price is about right but i would post some compression numbers to make sure you get your full asking price. by the way what size are the e30 wheels?

Good idea about the compression test, I'll see what I can do. The steelies are 14"

thanks for response, also do you notice any changes when you bypassed the intake? i imagine there would be none but just curious, as most side drafts do not run water through them.

I had a single sidraft on there at one point and just left the bypass rather than hookup the manifold again. I didn't notice any cooling difference from one setup to the other.

The door panels are very nice. Did you have them redone or get lucky enough to find them in that condition? Do you have any more pictures of how you did the interior front and back?

I got lucky with a pretty intact set, a little cleaner and a semi abrasive sponge and they came out great. I did make new boards for the front panels out of 3/8" MDF, bu the back ones were solid.

You did a great job on the car. Whomever picks this up is getting a nice set-up.
