euro front turn signals

I just bought a set of NOS Euro front turn signals

the bulb terminal seems to only have 1 wire

whereas the old one of course have two

for turn signal/4 way flasher & for running lights

do the Euro turn signals not have running lights?

any info appreciated

Nope. Euros only function as turn signals. There are several ways to incorporate turn signals into the euros, one being the use of Tap-A-Lites.

Yep you'll have to modify the housing to add a parking light. Many have come up with simple ways of doing it. Search "Euro AND Signal" - plenty of info on here.

I used tap-a-lights and installed them myself with little effort.

Go with the non-drilling methods. Much easier. I added a simple LED side light from O'Reilys and used two tie wraps to secure it to the the bar. Ground it at the mounting screw. Done.

WHEN I INSTALLED THE EURO LIGHTS , I USED A PAIR OF USA LIGHTS AND SWAPPED THE GUTS .

THEY ARE HELD TOGETHER WITH HOLLOW RIVETS SO I MADE SOME

NEW ONES FROM BRASS ON A LATHE .

THEY MUST BE CONDUCTIVE BECAUSE THE UNIT GROUNDS THROUGH THE

MOUNTING SCREWS .

IT WORKED GREAT AND HAS ALL BMW PARTS ( EXCEPT FOR THE RIVETS )
