Damn I want that car. But this is the internet so I have a few snarks:

How about a few more pictures? If it is so wonderful, show it off.

After a $100k restoration, how bad could a car fall into disrepair from daily driving to need ANOTHER $100k restoration?

Is it worth more or less with all the mods? Wouldn't you be better off buying a real restored CSL?

Let's see. Current bid is about 37k and a restored CSL will cost considerably more than four times that (a CSL out of Texas just sold on ebay for 60k need full -- and I mean full -- resto).

now: '72 Inka 2000 touring, '82 Alpina C1 2.3  & '92 M5T (daily driver)

before: a lot of old BMWs (some nice, some not so much), a few air-cooled 911s and even a water-cooled Cayman S

Obviously I am not up on CSL prices!

I found the picture link also. Any way you cut it that is a gorgeous car.

It looks like it was beat to hell before the last resto. Who would do that to such a beautiful car? Maybe it was in an accident or some other disaster.
