Early Exhaust Manifold or Tii Manifold

My 76- 2002 with California emission setup have a bad exhaust manifold and I now need to replace it. I want to eliminate the Calif emission and get an early manifold or Tii manifold. I've read mixed reviews on the board about both. I've found a new early manifold for about $95.00 and a used Tii manifold for about $200. I'm leaning towards the early manifold, but don't want to make my decision based on price alone. Is it that much of a difference for performance between the two? Really need a little advice here. Thanks!!

nozzles, make sure it isn't from an early (pre-emissions) 1600. Their ports are smaller and that will cause a slight performance loss if you don't radius the manifold ports to match those in the head. To check, use a 2002 exhaust manifold gasket as a template.

FYI, the same applies to intake manifolds.
