This is actually a pretty interesting post. Can you imagine if someone started a collection of engine VINs with their locations and people restoring cars could find who may have their old block and buy it.

Yeah thanks nape. I found that in my 02 bible, I recived it in a 71 I bought with a fourspeed. I just thought it would be cool if i found the owner of the car and we could reunite the car and engine. That is if the car is still around. I looked on the registry and no go
