I just bought a 2nd set that size, after going through a diff set. They work fine. It's a modest look & feel.

Good size but shop around (Tire Rack;Wallmart; wheelworks) as Costco is getting to be way too expensive.

costco's price, esp. for Michelin, is pretty good.

I am a little worried about the size

the original tire, I think is 165HR13 has OD of 23.2"

the 175/70R13 has an OD of 22.6

pretty close, but it is smaller

people seem to be saying that there is no real problem

185/70 is the equivalent size to the original 165 tires.

should use:

165x13" or 185/70x13"

I just replaced a set of Sumitomo's, which I loved, except they didn't last long at all, like maybe 20k miles. (fronts worn evenly, rears not due to rear camber) The mgr of the tire shop said it was no surprise to him. I got a higher mileage tire that doesn't feel as good cornering, but will hopefully last longer. ??

I started w/ 185/70/13's which gave me lots of fender rub, before lowering the car. Less apt to happen if you live on flat land & no frost heaves.
