I’m parting out this 1981 BMW 320is. Recaros, trans, lsd, driv, front hubs, front bumper and half shafts already spoken for. Whole car without items above $1700 Noteable items: 323 rear trailing arms if you are looking to do the rear disk brake swap / upgrade (has new pads and new rotors) $450 if I remove $300 if you remove 4 wheels are vial - $250 Spare is same style but bbs- 50 Engine runs and has 126k on it and has the 1.8i Head - $650 if I remove it $500 if you remove. Let me know now what you are looking for All parts are still on the car and full payment required for me to start to remove. Shipping is not included in prices quoted above - local pickup free.

Tobacco - door skins. I have one disassembled and one still together. My upholstery shop disassembled one for a template. As a bonus...Both come precut with holes for speakers. Door card material (cardboard) needs replacement- I can send you the damaged door card material or just removed and send you the skins. Buyer pays shipping. -

So the. Engine is a 2litre from 1968 according to the vin on the block. 121ti is stamped on the head. i just read in another thread that I may have the Bathtub style pistons that early cars, normally matched with 121 and 121Ti heads) Assuming that’s the case, can I use this e12 head with those pistons and is the head over machined?

So my car came with an e12 head that was cleaned and machined. Seems the valves and springs have also been installed. i took a few measurements nothing under 128 - slight variation from one end to the other. I read a bit in this thread, which I thought was helpful, but still made Head hurt (pun intended). https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/224092-e12-head-milled-to-1276mm-still-usable/?tab=comments#comment-1269640 Also, i have a billit 090 (284) cam and rockers to install and I just ordered dual weber 40s. i don’t know what kind of pistons my current engine has. I’d like to build this the rest of the way myself but am a bit worried about this task having never done it. here are the pics comments welcome.

All makes and models were welcome....however strangely an r32 skyline got the best non Audi import award as judged by the Audi HQ staff...don’t think any of those folks had the courage to give an award to a Bmw at Audi NA HQ. lol

Im no expert- and a newbie in the grand scheme of things so take this for what it’s worth. A basket case 72 tii with engine and injection system disassembled and rust galore just recently sold in MD for $2300 and he was asking $5,500. I looked at the car car it was a mess. i have a cancer ridden 71 non-tii and the new parts I installed to get it reliably running are worth more then Trying to sell the car as a whole. A painful reality. But it starts and runs great every time I turn the key. Unfortunity, Your friends car might be in that category as well. Timing is everything you may find a buyer who is not afraid of the cost and/or not afraid of a grinder and welding rig to do the rust repair in those wheel wells/shock towers. glws - let me know what it sells for I’d be curious to know. Overhauling my heaterbox. Repairing cracked plastic....wow it’s fragile. Don’t ask me how I know. Also if you doing this and reusing your fan blades on a new motor. A Quick way to determine which way the fan blows is to attach it to your drill before punching out the center shaft to affix to new motor. Also not that I read a post somewherethat if you reverse the wiring the fan may blow in a different direction...so there’s that way as well to be cautious of. Did i I mention this 50 year old plastic is fragile.. F&#& !!

These Flofit seats were rescued from a dead ? 2002- and ready for a new life. Recline is functional on both seats. Headrest knob on one headrest is broken. Not the knob but the internals. Seat boister foam will need to be replaced, but all other cushions are in good shape. The cloth covers on both seats is obviously shot. Price for the two seats is $250obo picked up or buyer pays and arranges shipping. If you are interested in having them reupholstered, I can also use my friend repair / reupholster - he works at an authorized recaro repair center Starting at $850.00 for black textured vinyl. I can put you in touch with him if you like. He is in union NJ. Let me know if you have any questions. -
Halboyles: Fitment was great. This is my third time buying from iggee. But I had my e21 seats reupholstered so no need for these any more - a bit of an error on my part to buy them - it happens. I have had iggee covers on my e21 recaros, another tan set on my e30 recaros and currently in my Honda Accord The comments I received on the e30 recaros - no one could believe they were covers. -
Iggee seat covers specifically cut for e21 recaros. Used for about a month. Good condition. Originally $179.00 For sale today for $90 plus shipping. The car was riddled with rust. Even if the the engine and injection could be restored - everything else was on deaths door. That said, the seller did say that he does need it gone and is considering all offers. So if your up for a challenge or looking for a tii parts car it might be for you!
