Very cool - If this drive was announced previously (probably was) I missed it!

I wondered the same thing when I installed my passenger mirror. I had a helper position the mirror at the position on the door

where I thought it should be, keeping mind of what/where I could see in the mirror. It's positioned pretty darn close relative to

where the driver's side mirror is. It probably isn't mounted to exact specs, but looks and works perfect.

Yes - make sure (of course) that the paint has been removed/ground to make a good metal to metal connection.

Not really sure where you're coming from....Was under the impression that Clarence was willing to send a PDF of the CAD....Perhaps I misunderstood?

Agree with Mike. Removed mine, looks 100% better, kept it for (whenever I) sell.

As much as I'd love to go, I'm sad (and happy) to say that I will not be able to make Brisbane as I will be attending my youngest son's college graduation in Washington state that day. This is a big day in my wife's and my life as we'll be getting a major pay raise...

Most of today's 7 series drivers are like anyone else that drives a modern day $$ car (Lexus, et cetera), entitled jerks.

Guaranteed he:

 - has never changed or know what a spark plug is..

 - hasn't a clue what an 02 is..

 - kicks the dog when he gets home...

I had the same problem a few year back on my 73 tii.

The problem was the engine was not properly grounded. Make sure there the stout grounding strap

exists between the engine and the frame.

There certainly is a demand for such a product.

Fire extinguisher, scissors jack, decent spare tire (and everything to change said tire) AAA card, wallet & cell phone.

Well......What I'd do would be:

- replace speedo cable

if that doesn't fix it I would..

- replace or rebuild speedometer

Might do better to grab one of those Ford trucks in the background.....

13 years ago I was working as a FF in a Bay Area city, was doing an inspection on a building and there was a stunning 73 tii parked in front of the building that I was inspecting. Having attended the West Coast 02 Fest (shout out to Rob Torres @ 2002haus) I left my card on the windshield saying how nice his tii was. I had forgotten about it until 3 months later he called me, thanking me......and BTW, he had 4 rims and tires that the local tire shop was storing for him....he no longer needed them.....they were mine if I could use them. Well, I did go to that tire shop, and they (gladly!) handed me 4 Hartge wheels with Michelin Pilots mounted on them.....WOW!

A year later this kind individual left at the fire station a spare Hartge mag (new in the box) as a spare.

We have remained good friends.

Interesting. I put new ones in 2 years ago while re carpeting with Esty's new carpet kit and zero problems....

Don't you need to lock the flywheel to get an accurate LD test?
