    Well, what about style 3? I remember that i asked Esty in one topic what is the shape of the 02 door seal and he painted one shape which is exactly like style 3 in the link you posted? Anyway let's see what she will say about it... Esty told about autozone general seal.     I'm now going to buy door seals and i was reading some posts by you about the generic seals, but i couldn't find exact name or link to the seals you've bought. Can you give me name / type of the seal and some links in the web to them in the web. Also do i need to specify some sizes of the seal or only the lenght i need. And how much do i need for one car? Just tell me all i need for the purchase. Thank you very much.

    In my tii (euro version) on the plate is only BMW 2002 tii. Can it be done?

    Is it possible on the name of the model to be written only BMW 2002 tii, not BMW 2002/2002tii like on the picture shown in Blunt's site?

    Well, i will not have the power of the S14, but it still be a little modified tii and i hope this setup will not be too long for my car (i mean the final drive ratio). About the price - here you just can't take so much money for these parts. Nobody here will buy parts like this for so much money even if they are so rare. Thank you for the answers, just wanted to know for sure.

    The guy told me that it won't fit as it is, but if you put the OD transmission housing (body) it will work?

    I found here in Bulgaria a dogleg transmission from E21 323 Alpina Getrag (i don't know which model) 1-3.76 2-2.32 3-1.61 4-1.22 5-1.00 R-4.09 For around $300. With the 323 LSD i have (3.46 final ratio) i think it will be good setup? But the question is will it fit to a 73 tii? I have a 5 spd overdrive transmission for M10 (E21 318i), maybe i can use the housing to fit the 02?

    Here's a pic of the carbs. They were bought brand NEW many years ago by a friend of mine who wanted to make his '71 a 2002 ti. Unfortunately he had an accident with the car and the carbs were sitting by now in his garage. All BMW signs and part numbers on them, they may just need a little cleaning here and there from the years sitting just like that...

    @sislane, e-mail sent, i'm interested. Guys, i need to complete the body work on my car by around 2-3 weeks. The buying and shipping of the Ansa exhaust bought from anywhere will take me around 4-5 weeks or more, because i'm too far from US. If i could i would take the sizes myself, but i can't. That's why i'm asking - How wide (inches or cm's, whatever you like) are the both pipes of the rear muffler to know how much to cut the section for the exhaust? I'm talking about muffler 0227. I will cut it, paint my car and then when the muffler comes i'll match it to the section, this is not a problem. Thank you. Regards.

    I don't have anything yet... I'm thinking of buying the small one. But i don't know how much it is wide, because i want to make this gap for the muffler with the sizes of the muffler... Because it will be ugly to leave the gap with the sizes of the tiny stock muffler and to put the wide big Ansa muffler...

    My rear low panel is very rusty, so i'll complete redoing it. And i'm using the moment to move the rear muffler from the right side to the centre. I've been seeing it on some cars, i don't know for which models is factory, i guess for the turbos only. I will put also Ansa exhaust system, so to the rear muffler. Í want some pics of how it looks and also how wide should be the gap for the muffler, because the double Ansa muffler is wider than the stock muffler. Thank you.

    Mine are very bad and rusty and i can get some custom made ones, but i was wondering what are these marked in red holes for? I see they are factory, i guess something has to be attached to them... What are they for?

    Guys tell me more about these pistons... What are their weight compared to the stock pistons? I'm building my 73 tii which will be something like a weekend car. I won't race with it, but i won't drive slow too, i want to have fast car and good performance, i hope you understand me... I was looking in the IE forged pistons, but since they are twice more expensive, if the MaxSil will work for me i will go with them. I'm looking for more lightweight pistons, i really don't like the heavy stock pistons and rods, so please tell me what to do...

    Very good post. Like i said i found here in Bulgaria very good almost rust free 75 1.8, with 5 spd OD, BBS E-30 rims, tii cluster and gauges and many other parts like bumpers, lights and etc for about $1000. I was thinking of ATS Classics on my tii, but since i saw the E-30 rims decided that this is the wheel!

    What about Wes Ingram rebuildings? I'm thinking of sending him the pump for rebuild. He offers tii street pump and High performance pump? I guess the HP pump have specs similar with the A4 pump, isn't it?

    Hmm, i haven't heard. In Bulgaria there's a 02 owned by an ex-rallydriver which have metal wide body, very similar to Zender box flares, but it looks a little bit like home-made tuning, lol... This serial number doesn't look too much like BMW serial number...It's too short i think... Isn't possible this to be some other serial #? Ignore the wood spoiler on the trunk, lol...
