  4. ....yes a great source, probably the best source ever, you can select years, photographers, events and so on....I started my research last year and I saw every picture of every year and race, also the motorcycles. There are 160000 pictures! in the archive. 1974 pictures Salzburgring Bavaria Rennen ...1975 pictures Salzburgring Bavaria Rennen W.
  5. sorry total OT @Tommy I did not see the Pictures of "my" Group2 doors, yet. Good Job and a cool car:-) http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/45713-goodfellas-project/page-6?hl=goodfellas& W.

  7. Hi @all, I am looking for a Schnitzer drysump oilpan with internal 2 stage oilpump, shown in hom 5258 or 5331. Every info about it, parts to buy, exchange, to lend would be helpfull. Thank you. W. Location: Germany
  8. Jepp, but a Striezel is more a kind of "Hefezopf" but that doesn´t matter. And here is the exlusive pic of the Baby Striezel ...and here as a young man in his first race at the 300km Nürburgring in the Koepchen BMW 1969 Cheers W. PS: Watkins Glen 77, Harald Grohs was planned as Co-Driver, but he did not drive the car because he was testing with BMW. The reason why Benny Parsons was the Co, he had Sponsors with enough money for the event.
  9. Hi guys, total OT but I have the next Stuck riddle. What is his nickname and what does it mean? And who gives him the name? W.
  10. Hi, no not really, look a bit closer. The photo was taken in 1971. There is a carburetor on it, not an ITB. It is interesting, it seems like a kind of mixture of well known early and later logos. W.
  11. Here we have this guy in the first year as driver at Alpina W.
  12. @ Mark, now I think the front spoiler mould is ready, so pictures please Another news about the ex drivers of your car. Dr. Thomas Betzler died in March 2014 in the age of 65 in Wiesbaden/Germany. W.
  13. a bit OT, sorry. @ Markmac: I asked a friend in Italy, so Ricciardo Ricci lived his last 15years in Brasil. Died in 2007 in the Age of 78. Now he (or better his urn) is back in Pontedera/Italy. He was an participant of the 24h race in LeMans 1962 with Alfa Romeo. My friend took also a nice photo of your car. But we do not know where and when. Maybe we will get more infos in the next days/weeks. W.
  14. Hi, if you have the two piece manifold, you need the early Alpina Airbox, because the cold start injector is mounted in the airbox. But in reality, no chance to find one. Best regards W.
  15. Hi @ all, I think it is time for those wonderful "Fledermausohren" pics. A "Lucky" car W.
