  1. Bontrager is owned by Trek also. It's a shame that Trek has bought up some many of the big name small builders. I love my Pinarello.
  2. Why in the first pic does here Jersey have an ad for Tom Ritchey products which is now owned by Trek?
  3. These were also in Firebird special editions. Recaro sells to anyone. If he snapped a pic of the sticker on the bottom it would help as one looks like an LS and one like an LX.
  4. 02's beside a barn near mile marker 63. This is mile marker 63 going north also. I don't know condition nor any spefics but if you live in the area it might be worth the venture.
  5. I didn't know that you lived in Mass. I used to Frequent Lake Holland's and Jack's on a twice a week schedule. The both get cars from as far away as NH. There are a few more good yards in Southern Mass in Middleboro and Bridgewater as well as out by old Ft Devon's near Rt 2.

You might want to mention this on www.r3vlimited.com and www.e30tech.com as well. Now we would prefer a 15x8 et 25 but this is a perfect size for an E30 also and gives spec e30 guys a good wheel.
  7. The front bottle cap even got trashed.
  8. Thanks. I'll definitely ask when I get money and time to really work on this thing. I've got about 10 days of vacation that I'm taking starting in about 2 hours. I'm 98.7% cash free, so I'm doing the $0 work on the car while I can. I know I'm going to need a windshield wiper motor. I saw that BMW Classics has a rebuilt one on e-bay for a pretty reasonable price. I think I've got a line on a starter. That should hopefully come through in the next week or two. When it comes to really tearing it down and working on the shell, I may see if any locals want to get their hands dirty with my car. I enjoy doing stuff myself, but there's a lot of 2002-specific knowledge that I just don't have. That level of tear-down won't happen until things start to warm up a little in the spring. Thanks! pete You want to yank the wiper motor, sure talk with Ian. I'm sure he has it yanked already.
  9. Arg, another classic mangled by an inattentive driver. Let me get this straight he was setting his radio right? Has to be something silly like that. Why? I imagine you are sore. But glad to see your still with us.
  10. If you need something don't hesitate to ask me or Ian. We both know where the remants are.
  11. Looked at the car today Ian, They were working on the wiring. Was looking for the 323i head. Greg
  12. USO, The pack the care packages here in Va. On Ft Belvoir.
  13. Very sorry to hear this Steve. My thoughts go out to you and your family. Lost my father to cancer and a brain tumer 10 years ago. At least it appears the last two years you seem to be best of friends.
  14. I would like to order a set. Be gone for awhile again work's got me in Australia for next 2 weeks.
  15. Hollands, and Jacks they are both in Billerica. Then on the south shore there is a few in Bridgewater and Middleboro. Or you could try eurodepot in Concord N.H.
  16. That's correct, Pete pulled it apart and checked it found that it had a third crack but all fixable. Nice older gentleman. Typical of what I remember machine shops look like.
  17. Thanks Bill, Dropped the head off this morning. They said if it was straight it could be repaired. I thought it could be I just needed a good welder that wanted to do the work. They are also going to do the valve job on it.
  18. Thank you, Bill. I will try him since Arlington is right up the road. I have 50 into the complete head. It's a M50b25 head Non vanos for those not fluent with later engines. Yes it's in a non stressed area and JB weld would probably work but I would prefer to have it done properly.
  19. Head fell on floor and cracked after work bench collapsed. Need to get it welded.
  20. Me too. I was hoping that it was a 50th anniversary issue.
