Band aid on my foggy window issue

We in the northeast have been battered with rain, two days a week for the last month. Though my fan works, it doesn't work great. I've only got one speed working; full blast, and as much as that helps, there's still huge areas of foggyness.

At the home depot yesterday I had an epiphany, Damp Rid! I guess it's a giant silica pack. I have it sitting right behind the passenger seat.

I didn't even need the fan on this rainy morning at all! Hopefully I won't be doing any long term damage to my lungs.

you really need window seals, and or door vapor barriers

the fog comes with leaking interior

or don't breath so much....................

Not that I'm suggesting this is the next step for your situation, but the real solution that the automotive industry went with was to use the A/C to dry the air in defrost mode.

Not so simple to retrofit A/C on an old car, but it does get the job done!

HA! I'm going to start driving with a plastic bag over my head!

yea, it totally needs complete reseals on BOTH doors.

Hah!

My son loved his "bag of broken glass" last Christmas. Mom wasn't so sure.

As for the foggy windows, I thought all real '02ers just carried a towel and wiped down at every stoplight.
