It's not too hard.

Clean out the bottoms of the inhex head bolts carefully,

then use a hammer to seat the socket before you try to turn it.

Watch your fingers...

Oh, and take all the bolts out of the rear hanger- makes it a lot easier, too.

did you manage to swap that diff in ?

Fill it with lube, too.

And there may be something to be said for replacing the locknuts.

Also if you strip a hex head, vise grips could be handy!

Everything went great!! Wasn't a hard project at all... Bonus though..I found out the rear diff I put in was a limited slip. So I had some fun after the swap.
