TX2002.......BMW Vintage Gathering

Hello All-

We had a nice turn out this morning at the Fillilng Station on Preston. Some were unable to make it, due to overcast and cold weather but we had an enjoyable time.

Everyone was in agreement in wanting to get together on a monthly basis and spread the word about our gatherings and of course the 2002 models.

For April-

the Mid America 02 Fest held in Eureka Springs, Ark will be the monthly gathering

I will be contacting John about a Tech day with BBQ at his shop - if ok will post more information on this yahoo group site.

TX BMW Vintage Gathering-

Several people from across Texas are working on a gathering of BMW's 1985 and older, more details to come soon. However, we are looking at gathering in October (after Oktoberfest) probably the 2nd weekend. Will set up a host hotel in New Braunfels. Come in Friday, dinner on your own. Saturday we would do a casual drive with tours of 4 wineries, stopping for lunch most likely at Camp Verde. Then dinner Saturday night at the Gristmill Steak House with dancing afterwards at Gruene Hall. Breakfast Sunday morning at a local restaurant to say our goodbyes to head safely home.
