HELP! Need one control arm to front subframe pivot bolt.....

Helping a co-worker go through the suspension on his square-light track car & found a bent pivot bolt (no wonder it was so hard to get the alignment right). Went through all my stuff and don't have a spare.

It's a BIG bolt (shank is 15mm diameter x about 180mm long not including the head, starting below the bolt head, the first 150mm is smooth, last 30mm or so is threaded), would have been yellow cad plated when new.

Anybody parted a car out recently and have one they can spare? Gotta be in good condition since the suspension will have to pass tech inspections.

Soo.... Does this mean that I shouldn't be putting my jack stands on those pivots?

weight of the car resting on it - the other side is fine, but this one's got a pretty good kink in it.

More likely there was a long ago accident or off-track excursion that put some pretty severe suspension loads on it, and nobody caught it until the whole subframe was disassembled and all the components inspected.

put his meathook there and yanked good and hard

so it wouldn't fall off his truck - see it all the time

it's alright to place jack stands there
