Some time back I had posted about loosing my clutch hydraulics on the 72. Klaus Schnitzer was up to the house doing a photo shoot on the turbo and we used the 72 for a backdrop. It backed out of the garage fine but wouldn't go into gear to go forward. Not no way, not no how!

It turned out to be a toasted clutch. this car had the JB AL flywheel which as pointed out in an earlier post does not have a "step" on the flywheel. The car has always seemed sluggish. I've fiddled with the carb and set-up, but never had the really good throttle response I expected.

I replaced the JB with a stock flywheel and new clutch package and I am happy to report that I have a hell of a nice car. It is a good thing to put the power to the back wheels. As well, the car is just much smoother and quieter than before.
